it's sad and pathetic. it was close, and I guess in a sense we should be glad that more people voted no than they did a few years ago. but still.

also, they banned gay marriage in Arizona and Florida (including any sort of union that's not a marriage), and they banned gay couples from adopting in Arkansas.

RIGHT? Fucking hell. So two people in a committed relationship cannot adopt a child because they are gay, but a single gay person can?! IT LITERALLY DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.
