No more easily looking up your favourite artists on the web, no more sharing art via the web or any other publication for that matter. Oh, and be prepared to pay money to register

I wish I knew. Cross-post this for your American friends? Make sure that if something like this ever comes up in your country that you write to your people about it.
You might also look into the copyright laws in your country, to make sure that you can still protect yourself from our stupid laws. :)

I've written my representatives and I'm on my second round of form letter responses. I really hope this nasty bit of business gets slapped to the ground, else I worry that there won't be any point in pursuing illustration outside of the big Workhouses of Corbis and Fotostock anymore.
