Yesterday, Feb. 7th, my cat Sugar died. He was the white one with blue eyes that was deaf.

Today, Feb. 8th, we got a new kitten named Bella and she's adorable.

Bleh.

Oh, Addie, I'm so sorry to hear that. Animals are companions and so hard to replace, but that doesn't mean we can't move on with a new friend. This must sound overdramatic and stupid, but I've learned a lot from animals lately, and on some occasions, they can be the most important things in our lives.

Although Bella will never replace Sugar, I hope you find a new companionship with her and peace with Sugar.
