So... I think I may have found an apartment! It's in Forest Hills, and at first I thought it'd be too far of a commute, but the E runs express from there right to my office, and it's only about 20 minutes, 30 max. And there are no transfers, which is clutch. The neighborhood is beautiful, and it's a 5-10 minute walk to major stores and restaurants
