Well the issue is really that this war is not about Sadaam being a madman - it is for oil. An unjust war that should not be happening. Once Sadaam is out of power the US and Bush will place in a "democratic" leader of our choice so secure cheap oil for the next 2 decades. Plenty of innocents will die for 20 cent cheaper gas - for the weapons of mass destruction that do not exist. Given that the entire world except for UK is against this war that should tell us something. The Hitler thing probably goes a little too far but i guess Bush's disparaging of the United Nations, world opinion, and international statesmen is reminiscent of an April 28, 1939 speech by Hitler

Oh and also we are not even fighting our supposed enemy of the 9-11 attacks. None of the hijackers were Iraqi (but 50% of americans think they were) and Sadaam was not the mastermind (70% think he was)... That goes to show the power of the Bush administrations propaganda in mounting US support for this war.

have you ever paused to think of the long term effects of this "just" war? have you thought about the example that it sets for other nations wishing to get rid of their nasty enemies? i guess it's ok for india to nuke pakistan then, since pakistan is a military dictatorship just like iraq and pakistan has nukes. oh wait, pakistan is a US ally. whoops. preventative war is a monstrous thing to unleash upon the world
