Na een week lang hard arbeiden bleven we gedrieën, Tjaap, Tinus en ik, alleen over in de control-room. Andere collega's waren reeds een uur geleden al vertrokken, na het nuttigen van 1 of geen bier. Nu, we dronken stevig door. Behalve ons was het kantoorpand geheel verlaten

Resume: Three nerds sitting alone in an office building, Friday afternoon, alone and drinking. The nerds miss the bus and two of them decide to go downtown Amsterdam to eat. Unfortunately, the restaurant appears to be of the 'halal' type, so no alcohol, which we found out too late.

So, after dinner, the two nerds walk to the Leidseplein where there is the Irish pub called 'Dan Murphy's' for a lager. Nerds meet this Welsh gay female poet in a wheelchair, and have a discussions about Allen Ginsberg and the 'fucking Dutch calvinistic' attitude. One nerd (I) shows his SP (Socialist Party) membership card, which results in a hug of the poet.

So. :)

Well, it depends on where and who you speaking with, but on the other hand, you won't get 'knocked around' or something when you're in the lion's cage. I think people will just ignore you then.
