I have a car!

9 miles on the clock when I took the keys. It's nice :) *hugs car*

Now I just need to find insurance for when the 7 day freebie from the dealer runs out. Any recommendations?

Finding insurance for cars is dull and tedious. Only suggestion is to use a cashback service for getting the insurance online (eg Quidco) as that can save you a packet...

We're with direct line, I think. You could try the RAC or AA, or your bank, as there is a possibility of added discounts based on what services you already have.

Comparethemarket.com - tedious to type in all your details, but no worse than doing it on the phone and then you don't need to do it on the phone.

And then next year they have all the data already. I imagine other online services are similar but 2 years ago ctm were the only ones who could cope with Firefox and no graphics.

I've also got them to stop sending me meerkat updates...

Use a price comparison website, then actually call them to arrange - often you can get it cheaper over the phone.
