The most serious accusations in the piece quoted above, that Fonda turned over slips of paper furtively given her by American POWs to the North Vietnamese and that several POWs were beaten to death as a result, are untrue. Thank you. I was just checking the comments to see if anyone had mentioned checking snopes. I get forwarded emails like this all the time and each time I have to look it up and email everyone the Snopes article. For some reason, this doesn't stop people from continuing to forward me false info (or from sending me forwards in general...oh, how I wish they would stop).
