Excitement that may be rather misplaced

I am so excited about getting textbooks. Somehow that is what will finally convince me that I am going back to school and not being forced to go back to work. Some of the other Co-op students finished on Friday, so the lab won't be as busy, and perhaps my supervisor will feel a bit bad about me being there, slaving away until the bitter end. After

I always like getting new text books too. When I was back in China, we would get brand new books handed out to us by the teachers, and I loved the new book smell, and the new pictures included in those books! They were always so clean and untouched. I would always look forward to "new book day".

And it's no different now that I'm buying University textbooks. I always wonder what new knowledge could be hiding within.
