Congratulations on your anniversary!

Really, I'm glad you and Jorge got married before Lilisonna and I did. It's been very reassuring to see such a stable and functional marriage. Unfortunately, in our general community, that seems to be more the exception than the rule, and it was so nice to know, especially early on, that it really CAN be done :)

I think there are a number of successful marriages in the community:

Speaks and his wife
you and Lilisona
Adiaz and her husband
Me and D
Mike and Kristyn
Rob and Lisa Marie
Bill and Marie
Mickey and Veaya

Now, how normal any of us are I can't say, but I think that all of these marriages are stable and the people in them have super relationships. We all have our problems, but that's part of being human.

Also, Sean and I share other communities. Though we're hardly the only marriage working in the LARP community, true.

Adiaz and her now-husband, however, were the first couple that I knew well single (well, unmarried), and then saw grow and adapt to marriage. Most of the other folks you list were married before I ever knew them well, which is very different.

Hey, for that matter, only two of the friends I grew up with or went to college with are married, yet. And oddly, they're both my ex's. All of my old male friends appear to be determined bachelors. I suppose the must think I'm odd...but since they're single, and I'm not, I don't mind :)
