mission101 update:

Stricken-through items are completed, with the dates in bold.
Italics indicate a task in progress.

5. Complete the 15000pages challenge. 1071 pages read. (1/12/2005)

6. Complete the 50bookchallenge challenge. 1 work read, 3 works in progress. (1/12/2005)

13. Finish knitting the sweater for my brother. The knitting project that never ends. I think I did two rows this month. :-( (1/12/2005)

14. Learn to quilt from my husband's grandmother. I've asked her to teach me, and she said that she would. We'll be doing a small project, like a wall hanging or a pillow. Now I need to pick a pattern, pick my fabric, and pick a weekend to stay at the grandparents' house. (12/24/2005)

25. Tag all my LiveJournal entries. Most of 2005 is complete. (1/12/2005)

31. Buy 5 new board games. I wrote "buy", but I meant "acquire". So, I'm counting one of our Christmas presents, Shadows Over Camelot (12/25/2005)

33. Attend at least one SCA event a month for three months. Again, I wrote "events", but I meant "events or meetings". Shire scribal meeting (1/5/2005).

47. Follow a set haircare regimen for at least one month. Step one: later this evening, I'm cutting my hair from 8 inches long to 1 inch. (1/12/2005).

53. Develop at least 5 websites that produce passive income. One started, still in heavy development. (1/12/2005)

62. Create a budget and stick to it for 3 months. Budget created (1/9/2005). Tight, but doable.

64. Save all loose change and bring it to the bank when the jar is full. Collected: two Snapple bottles and a cookie tin full of change. (12/20/2005). Have set up little bowls in each room of the apartment to toss loose change into. As of 1/12/2005, the one in the bedroom is already half-full!

87. Get my driver's license -- and drive at least once a week for a month. Started driving again on 1/8/2005. Goal is to drive at least twice a week through January 2005, at least four times a week in February, and every day in March. My permit expires in May, so...

88. Collect and organize favorite recipes. Received a recipe book from my sister-in-law for Christmas. Had a whole bunch of recipe books donated by new grandmother. Need to sit down and sort through them. (1/12/2005)

89. Try at least one new recipe once a month. 12/2005: Honey Banana Whole Wheat Bread, chili recipe of my own devising. 1/2005: Spiced Date Bread.
Yes, I like our new breadmaker. :-) Next up: Chicago-style pizza, based on a recipe from our favorite pizza place.

93. Organize my clothes into things I wear, things for crafting, and donations. I have too many clothes that I don't wear. Past time to get rid of some. Started sorting. (1/12/2005)

94. Sell or donate half of my books. I also have too many books that I don't read. About halfway through sorting out my "sell or donate" boxes of books. (1/12/2005)

95. Develop an emergency/survival kit. Joined making_a_plan. (1/12/2005)

96. Visit Philadelphia. Tentative plans to visit this year, either combined with brother's graduation in May, Thanksgiving in Virginia in November, or random Philly-centric vacation in the summertime. (1/12/2005)

Original list.
