Also, since then, I've watched an interview of O'Loughlin on youtube (Male's Fitness, I think?) and since he wasn't acting, I instantly thought "Dude, he's Australian! Has to be." He's got the hottest Aussie accent I've heard since Johnathan I was working with at Harvey's, you know?
And I was right.
God, I'm happy about this, because so many people have asked me 'how is it different?' and I keep saying, compared to a US accent, it's a lot like British, but still different. For an American, you'd call it a Southern kind of British... which, historically speaking, is kind of accurate. :P
But now I have an example. I can say: Check him out, that's exactly how my buds in Brissy talk.
I think it's fairly close. I mean, he's from Sydney, and I doubt there's a huge difference.
