PowerPoint question

Does anyone know if it is possible to save the audio from a PowerPoint slide show so that it can be listened to separately from the slide show itself? I'm trying to transcribe the audio narration from a PowerPoint, and the creator of the slide show didn't provide any play/pause/rewind/fast forward type of buttons, so every time I stop the audio, I ( Read more... )

I haven't tested this (we don't have any PowerPoint decks on hand with audio), but maybe saving it in HTML format is a way: Sound Powerpoint Tip: Extract Audio & Images Embedded in PPT Slides

Thanks for the links. I now have .wav files that I should be able to transcribe much more easily than pptx files.

That's what I was thinking. If you save it as an HTML file, you should be able to go into the file (s), and find the sound file. If that makes sense? If you have iTunes or QuickTime it should be easy to find.
