Rating communities are the devil! I mean, seriously, who has the right to reject anyone on any superficial ground (which is essentially what they do). The whole notion of 'rating' someone is derogatory, pointless and at worst, harmful to one's self-esteem.
There is a rating communtity for everyone, it's about finding the right one, some are harsher than others. And if you mean superficial grounds as in the way you look, very little of it is based on appearance. At least in the coms that I enter in for anyway. It's not as if anyone is being forced to be "rated", if you can take the criticism (which some of us can) we go in for it. It's nothing serious and nothing deliberately harmful is meant by it. The members are generally all very nice and apologetic if they refuse you.
