Today has been a generally cruddy day. I am irritable, stressed, and generally non-productive. Giving up on writing a coherent paper, I decided to read the latest issue of Star Wars - Rebellion and saw the ad for this:

I need a new pair of pants. I am so looking forward to having disposable income in the near future.

I've already started my Collection w/ Emperor Palpatine and Darth Maul. They are very cool, but the wings you snap off of one place and snap them on another to finish the transformation, so they aren't eternally indestructable. BUT MAN I COULDN"T HELP IT! WALMART has them for $15 each.

Yeah, we had to go to Hell-Mart in Rolla today on an emergency shoe run. (Side note, Hell-Mart here seems to be rather more tolerable than in ABQ. I wasn't filled with the urge to run through the store scream "My soul! My soul! Give it back!".) I really liked the Darth Vader one, but since we are moving in two weeks, I forced myself to be good for now.

It sucks that they have snap-off/snap-on parts... though even the original jets had the same problem - which is why it easy to find the bodies, but not the wings these days. Still, I intend to go shopping as soon as I am settled in.
