I actually did not friend you. . . read for more informationadmiraldavSeptember 16 2004, 20:40:46 UTC
[This is the form message I've been sending to everyone who "admirallame" has confused.]
"Admirallame" is a parody of my livejournal, created by people whom I don't know in order to be funny and to mock my style of writing. My prose, you see, is uber-pretentious. Well, anyway, I won't go into the whole story at the moment.
In the process of making this parody site, evidently these individuals added a huge number of livejournal names as admirallame's friends. The idea, I think, is to attract many curious people, who will then feast their eyes on the skillful and humiliating mockery. Well, in practice, a lot of people are goiing to visit and mistake the joke for reality. Since my own picture is posted prominently on this parody site, it is quite possible that someone who knows me--or who will know me--will think that I am the one writing that drivel.
No doubt, I will have to post this information many more times. How frustrating wanton pranks can be, but what can I do about it?

You could sue for libel. I am no expert of the law, but I do know a thing or two about the media. Being as your not a public figure, nor a limited public figure you cannot be parodied without written consent. I say we find, skin and do something akin to the infamous Deliverance film. Mwahahahaha
