So, for those of you who are not aware, I made a very interesting discovery regarding my allergy to alcohol.  It seems that this allergy, at least as I understood it, does not exist.  I am not allergic to alcohol.

I am, however, quite allergic to sulphites.  These are a substance that are normally occur in wine, beer, and some harder liquors.  My ( Read more... )

hmmm . . . i never thought of an alcoholic drink as "childlike"

I've edited that part to read "youthful." Because that's the word I was looking for...you're right that "childlike" isn't quite the word. But then again, it was late, and I was drinking. So I deserve points for not screwing it up too much.

I always make sure I take a sniff, and then a tiny sip, of a liqueur that I'm not familiar with to test for a reaction.

An orange cream version of this drink sounds quite tasty - I am very interested to hear about the flavor/reaction of that mix.

I have done orange soda and vodka, and have extened it to orange soda and orange vodka.

I want to try it with orange cream soda and triple sec. yum.
