I think maybe if something happened in the community more often it would be more active? I'm not sure if that makes sense. Maybe if there was like, another weekly activity that happened in the middle of the week and the submissions and secrets posts near the end/beginning, it could get people to participate more overall? I don't know, and the only things I can think of for like a mid-week activity are little get-to-know-each-other things that way everyone can get to know the other great people in the community and have more to post by way of secrets and admirations towards more and new people? Or maybe something like, just share a story about something someone did that was really nice and meant something to you, even if it was really small? I don't know, just brainstorming, I hope I've helped somewhat! :-) *needs to be more active here anyways* evil PSP, at least AS still works! *refrains from using Paint LOL*

ooh, and maybe perhaps have a submissions post that's open during the rest of the week in case people have time (especially with it being summer) and want to make and then immediatly submit something other times than the weekends?

Honestly, the only problem I see with the community is that a lot of people probably feel like they are out of the "in circle" of it all...I know that I do...I have made secrets for 2 people who don't normally get secrets, but mostly I see secrets for the same people over and over again, and that makes other people feel like they don't belong here. I am making an effort to try to change the fact that other people don't get secrets too by making secrets for people who don't get them, but I can't do it alone, and it's hard to keep going knowing when I see less and less people participating and more people seeming to just feel left out and not even checking the secrets...

I agree -- I think the circle should die and EVERYONE get included.

And I agree with that. But, I also can't do it alone.
So, how do we get more people to do it?

I say sort-of maybe have each person who wants to get a secret, should do a secret, of somebody on their friends list.

Maybe then, there'd be more people here, and more secrets about people who havn't gotten many secrets.

That sounds good to me, and I'd be willing to help out and make a couple few bunches.

i only know one person on here, really, & did a secret for them. i skim them. i don't know people and they have no clue about me so it is hard to do secrets for that reason

Well, I haven't done much lately because I keep ending up really busy near the end of the week.

maybe... featured members? Like randomly choose a couple people every few days/once a week to focus on showing all the great things about them. That might help everyone get to know each other and let everyone feel special?
