There is only a week and a half left until Anime Expo, and I am really running out of time. I am trying to get my primary costume done, but I really am not getting a whole lot of help. Still need to make the shoes, and that video I looked at for making it already looks complicated (maybe I'm just making it so. Anyways, I'll probably get two days ( Read more... )

1) glue gun = $3 from a craft store like Michaels.

2) Just cut out small pieces that follow the contour of the surface and glue them on. Don't try to fold it over in big chunks. That would just make it ripple.

3) thanks for making the tank! I'll try to help with the fur stuff if you really need help with it. The only problem is that I have little idea how to really make that thing too and I could have only worked on it when you were there to fit it on.... >_____>

4) get cheap sunglasses; we need those lenses.

My advice is: if it's just before the con, and you're really not close to finishing, then don't stress over it. Just put it aside, go enjoy AX, and get it ready for the next con. Whatever you do, don't work on cosplay during the con, or even into the beginning of it. You'll just miss things you wanted to do and be miserable later. x.X
