The Good, Bad, and UUGGGGHHH

 I keep on pulling my back every time I try to do shoulder exercises with heavy weights.  I'm able to do it, but one wrong move and it screws up something.  I'm not a fan of those weightlift belts, but I can see why people wear them ( Read more... )

I highly recommend P90X kempo in lieu of weights. It's better for toning than for bulking, but it's a really good arm workout that will leave you crazy sore (especially if you're really tense and actually imagine punching things). It'll be a lot easier on your body because you're using your body's natural weight and movement to encourage your muscles to work.

I've tried several of the P90x workouts, but its one of those programs that demand constant high energy output. Its just not my kind of thing, mentally speaking, when more reps are required.

I've actually been bulking up at a steady pace. Adjusting to heavier weights take time, and can sometimes be risky.It's just one of those accidents that can happen with my kind of workout.
