I saw the latest Kaiji episode yesterday, and before the episode began they ran a commercial advertising this:

That totally made my day!!

I think they're doing the dice game too? (Unless that was already shown in the first movie...)

Yeah they did the dice game in the first movie. They changed some of the story in the first movie to make it move faster. What happened in the first movie is that he actually loses in restricted Rock Paper Scissors and is immediately sent to the mines.

Now I don't even know how they're going to set up this movie's plot.

They're also giving him a new/different love interest too? Curious about the lion game, hmmm.

It's a pretty fun movie to watch. If you want a general broken down 2hr. version of season 1 (plus a little of season 2) it's a good watch. The only problem I find with it is that it moves too fast in comparison to the anime so you lose a lot of the tension build up.

They also change a couple of the characters. Like, for one, Endoh - the loan shark with the sun glasses - is a WOMAN!! They've actually doubled (x2) the number of women in Kaiji - AMAZING!! :P

I'm pretty sure Valerie has a copy, but I just Googled it and did my best to find a full movie on some random website .
