Should I go to Fanime this year?

I have pros and cons that seem to equally weigh each other. What do y'all think?

Though I am currently disappointed by the lack of special guests .__.

its more than just what i can do there. for one thing, I'd still have to ask around if anyone has space for one more

second, would there really be anything worth doing there. I haven't been keeping up with any anime, and, quite frankly, have done the whole fanime schtick several times already. Yeah hanging out with friends is cool and all, but it's usually harder at a convention where everyone is scattered with their own agendas not necessarily coinciding

.__. I totally understand... that's why I stopped going to ALA and PMX. :/ If I'm not doing a group cosplay then I end up feeling pretty left out. Fanime should have plenty to do, though I have kept up on some things so I think that helps, but I don't know a single guest o.O; or have a single panel I want to go to... so I am totally up for doing whatever!

Mmm I think dramaelf, murada, and vespabee are carpooling up with me (we still have to work out the details but that sounds like what's happening) so there's no way we'll have room in the carpool.

Edit: Msg me if you decide to go.
