I'm thinking of designing a new costume for myself. Any ideas? I know you've had great success with designing new costumes in the past.
Sincerely,

Thank you for your kind words, but you are giving me far more credit than I deserve. I assume Ms. Pym has shown you pictures from my Nomad days. I am not sure how much you know of my history, but I had come to a severe disagreement with the administration, and I was trying to distance myself from the "Captain America" title. I designed the Nomad costume based on those feelings and I unfortunately did not give consideration to practicality that I should have.
I understand that you've designed your teammates' current uniforms, including your own. Yours is very attractive and far too revealing --- I don't care what the current "trends" are for both civilians and superheroes But it doesn't offer you adequate protection from a) the impact of a punch b) bullets c) any number of elemental attacks that may be directed at you from supervillains.

I know you're pretty serious about education, and your grandmother has kept you pretty much on the straight and narrow, so I have a question for you about my little sister: how many body piercings do you think one teenager can get before their studies begin to suffer?
Thanks for your advice! I have trouble keeping my cool with the young folk.

Uhm, Ma'am? Speaking as someone who has a piercing *points to gold hoop on left ear* I don't think you need to worry about your little sister's studies if she decides she wants a piercing or two. After all, you don't think I'm too bad. =)
I know that's not entirely what you mean, but I seriously don't think you need to worry on that front. My friend Teddy had gone a little nuts with piercings when I first met him---he has several on each ear. At first, I thought that was little funky (three on each ear? Ow, man!), but he's the nicest, most studious guy you can ask for. His boyfriend's parents think he's the sweetest kid ever, piercings and all, and seriously, converting your SO's folks is always a hard sell.
As long as your sis goes to someone who's a prof and is big on safety she'll be fine. And I swear she won't change or get a personality transplant. Well, I kind of did but that wasn't because I went out to get a piercing.
Best of luck,
Patriot

(She got her tongue pierced yesterday, actually. And I'm fine with it, but my mother is FREAKING OUT!)

And oh dear! I hope your Mum takes Eli's advice to heart, and that things cool down between her and your little sister.
