I got accepted into the AmeriCorps NCCC program as an alternate. Though people say being on the waiting list is better than not being accepted at all, I still find myself extremely unsatisfied and disappointed. The dropout rate for the applicants who were fully accepted into the program is 30%-40% so I still have a great chance of serving but my ( Read more... )

Before I forget to post this and before it falls back into the far reaches of my memory, I just want to say that I've been inspired to do so many things in the past couple of days.
