Home from NYC.

Had an awesome time.

My feet are crying from the abuse of walking everywhere.

Saw them filming Gossip Girl two days in a row (at the hotel just up the block the first day and in a cab driving around midtown the second day).

Well... Met them is probably not quite true. Saw them behind MASSES of insane fangirls who actually broke a steel barricade in order to get to them is more like what happened. I just kept reaching my program towards them until someone took it from me, had it signed, and sent it back. If you DO go and you want good spots on the barricade for signing/meeting/pictures, leave the very second the audience stands to give them a standing ovation; don't join in the curtain call, get out front and on the barricade as soon as you can. :)

Ummm, YES OMG I WANT. I wanted to stop and actually buy it but my mom was all, "omg must get back to hotel before it's midnight because we might get mugged!" LOL.

ROFLMAO, I loved that line. It was a fantastic show and I totally wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't mentioned it so frequently and with such love. ;) I tried to get her to see Legally Blonde too, but she said two shows in three days was more than enough. :P

Altar Boyz was so stupidly good back in the day with the original cast... I haven't seen it recently. In general, the next time you'd visit, if Orfeh is in a show, I'd recommend you go see it... no matter what it is. She's probably the most vocally talented person I've ever known. :)

I'm generally pretty critical about shows I see (because, you know, working on shows in Toronto just makes you picky like that :P) and this cast was pretty strong. I could nitpick about some of the awkward acting and a few technical glitches (one of the mics went out for an actor which led to some late entrances as they tried to fix it off stage), but on the whole, it was a LOT of fun, above average singing ability (only a few pitch issues here and there) and the energy stayed really high the entire time. It didn't drag and for the most part, the cast were all believable in their roles. :)

I really enjoyed it.

And YES, the next time, the goal is going to be to figure out what she's in and to get tickets to it, even if I have to wait in line at TKTS for hours. :P
