Ugh. I hate waiting to hear about jobs. The place I interviewed for yesterday said they'd let me know by today, so I'm waiting for a call. BLAH it's stressful. A part of me doesn't want to get it, because I'd like to have the decision made for me. Another part wants it, and another part is just scared shitless about getting it ( Read more... )

I have had several people rave about the Toyota Matrix. (Or its smaller sibling the Yaris/Jazz)

Yeah - that's definitely a car I'll look into if I don't get the job. I briefly looked at it while at the dealership today but they didn't have the AWD/4WD that I need for up north.

My cousin has a Yaris and loves it. I have no idea how he fits into it, since he's, like... 6'9? 6'10? But he loves it.

Thanks for the suggestion; I'm starting to figure out that everyone loves their Toyota!

Becca has a Yaris and it is surprisingly roomy for such a small car. I really really like it.

If you're looking for a 4x4 wagon type of vehicle I'm personally quite fond of the Subaru Outback. I also like the newer Foresters. They're in the "crossover" family of SUV's. You know, the ones that aren't huge and obnoxious ;)

I don't know what they're ratings are like, but I know Subaru has a pretty good quality reputation.

And because we have a Hyundai (Sonata) and love it, I went to their site and the
Tucson looks cute.
