Maybe this is just a little definition from Dictionary.com but this is also a way to see how the world may or maynot view us.
Its not important for us to live up to the expectations of the world, but isnt this also what Christ requires of us as Christians?
He wants us to be Christlike and for us to strive to be LIKE HIM!
We dont always live up to the expectations of Christ but thats why He died for us, thats why He is perfect and we are not. And thats why He forgives us for our sins. Because He loves us but knows that there is no way we would be able to do it for ourselves.
I dont know where Im getting at here. maybe you all could give some biblical imput.
