Hee, I was wondering why Raven had a box around her head!! I figured it was something like that :)
So far the version in which I've best liked Dmitri's hair, face, and fur trim coat thing has been this one, in which it actually looks quite a bit like him. I know his body position was completely wrong, but I was wondering if maaaaaybe you still had the large size of that one secreted away somewhere and could superimpose it....? *hopes* I mean, I do like the idea of having the left hair behind the left ear so more light falls on his face, but everything else about that particular version was pretty much spot on. He didn't look too old, and could definitely pass for a vampyre without appearing too creepy. Just the right sort of imposing quality, and he definitely looked Russian in that one :D
Also, her dress is wonderful so far, and I love what you're doing with the bench!! *squee*
His hair is definitely more on the straight side. But! Today another friend who's writing a book with a vampyre theme posted some links to artwork by Victoria Frances, and I came across this. The position of the hair (flowing on the left side, tucked behind the ear on the right) is perfect, and the actual guy isn't too bad-looking either ^_^ I would have no objections if Dmitri came out looking like him. Of course, the hair in that picture's the wrong colour, and the clothes are a bit off historical-accuracy-wise, but you know what I mean :)
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, sweetie. I'm still not getting those comment notifications sent to me *tear*
Hi I was looking at some communities and came by your art work and went for a closer look. I am always looking for other artist work. I think I saw somewhere saying that you do digital work. If this is digital what programs do you use. I am an artist and graphic designer. I love your work. I don't get to work on my art as much as I would like but I fit it in when I can.
yeah I realize I misunderstood your comment after I stormed out and deleted my entry [I thought you meant I should get rid of the camera that I used to take the picture.. which would mean the guy looks horrible and everything.. that's what I understood from it].. my apologies.
