Why is it that whenever Zoe decides to pack a mental day she's been a handful for the three days beforehand just to make sure I am totally exhausted and run down with very little patience or coping ability left.

And why does this stupid laptop not display punctuation unless you add a space after it. Even tho the space does not appear.

The punctuation thing, I suspect you will find, is that your keyboard has ended up set as some sort of weirdy european thing, so you can use the punctuation to put diacritic marks over 'e's and stuff i.e., '+space == ', but ' + e == e-acute, if you get what I mean. Long story short; check your keyboard settings.
