one week off of work...bad idea two to three weeks would have been much smarter. I was wrong I thought after being blown up like a balloon I had deflated after one week...oh no, now I am starting to deflat apparently from how I feel at least, but I'm back to work so the vicadin seems like a bad idea since you know i'm going to work the next day,

Unfortunately, it seems that the ick factor is a large part of being a surgeon. I'm no fan of seeing blood or wounds or internal organs. I can't even watch those surgical shows on the discovery channel or the learning channel or the whatever else get it off my screen ew ew ew channel.

Yeah. My father has a similar reaction. He discovered this sometime during his 4th year as a pre-med major. Ehh, whoops.

Not that chemist pays horribly, mind you. And the malpractice insurance costs are pretty much negligible.

Medical stuff makes me pass out.
