i am so fucking jealous of you right now, i can't even explain. i'd kill to be at that match, even if it gave me heart attack only watching it on tv. you're right, it was one of those everyone will remember.

you know those little things that float through the air from dandelions (i think?), those little white fluffy things? and if you catch one you hold it behind your back and make a wish and let it go, and as long as you don't see where it goes, your wish will come true? well i've always done that and i call them "wishies" (i have forever, i have no idea why!), and the bernabéu is filled with them. they're floating all around it and inside of it. i just kept seeing them the entire time, and i couldn't help but think it was purposeful, a sign or something. everything just came together.

watching the game without you was so weird. it was weirder knowing you were there. thinking "that happened right in front of her!" and blah blah blah all the things i'm sure you expected me to say. i am uploading your pictures from the bernabeu visit right now and i still just can't believe you were there at all, let alone at the match. i don't know! it's just so weird and i know it in an intelligent way but viscerally (hahahaah) it hasn't connected at all?
