Rachael and I went to Savannah on Thursday. The hotel was very nice and we had our own private balcony. After we paid for parking(which we later found out that we didn't had to lol), we walked hand in hand in the beach. Ironically, I actually had my gallbladder removed last year in the spring, which also caused me to have an infection in my liver.

Stick to jello and broth. I was on a cruise when I had a really bad gallbladder attack, annnndd... didn't eat much for 10 days until they were finally able to get me into surgery. It's usually something that happens in older women, but they chalked it up to possibly being hereditary or the fact I had BC pills.

It can be slightly scary, but by the time you finally wake up after surgery - you can eat things without an issue. It's incredibly nice to have that first bite, even if it is hospital food. I did have stones, but it got to the point they just removed the gallbladder.... I went a year without being able to eat eggs, and the day after surgery I ate eggs and other solid low-fat food without an issue. :D

Breath easy, it's a simple procedure, and the pain afterwards wasn't bad. You'll definitely be sore, but it's bearable (for me at least). I didn't even take the pain meds prescribed when they sent me
