She walks around practically everywhere, taking occasional glances to her map, and has seen enough to figure that this place is roughly the same size as Senria back home. Eventually, she stops in a couple stores, picking up

[Thirteen's actually in one of the stores, looking for something to cook for dinner. With Litchi still not back, and Goroh and Tsubaki not around, he's been fending for himself and keeping an eye on Tao in the meantime. So he's getting more food than he could eat on his own.

As he browses the cuts of meat, he glances over to see her nearby.]

Hey, Brooke. Settling in okay?

Hey, David. It's still a little weird being apart from everybody I know, but other than that I think I'm doing fine.

Good to hear. Adjusting to being alone is the hardest part. ...Well, except for some of the stranger experiments, but hopefully we won't have to deal with that for a long, long time.

It's mostly just worrying how they'll hold up without me, really. I'm not too concerned about most of them-[Actually, she is concerned, and fairly so. It's practically impossible for her to not be.]-but Jason and Sara don't exactly get along, so I'm already wondering how many bruises he'll have gotten by the time I get back. [Whenever that is.]

And I'm a little curious, what exactly qualifies as "strange" here?

[It might be clear that this is Brooke's first day at the clinic, since when she's found, she's seen carrying a notebook and pencil; some of the items she had picked up on her way here. In the notebook is a rough map of the building with a bunch of notes scribbled down to identify what can be found where.

When addressed, she pauses for a moment, and then turns.]

Hey there, is there anything I can help you with?
