My wife bought a new phone the other day, an
HTC Desire HD, which means she now has a better phone than I do, grrr!

I have the same setup, but if it drops connection it always needs a repair. which is really annoying. It also seems impossible to prevent the system from shutting down the liveview software when the device is locked.

I used some parts of your usb host driver for the hero on the Desire HD. At the moment the host mode works, but the host and the gadget mode is not switchable at the moment.
Have you shelf think about porting the host driver to the DHD?

Unfortunately as I don't have one of that model of phones, it'd be kinda hard for me.
