Adra,
First thing is first; we are very happy to hear of your decision regarding Anakin Sarvo. Sort of. You know how neurotic and paranoid wary your mother can be about the Slytherin house's ability to handle such things, but in the end we heatedly debated loudly argued calmly discussed matters, and, though your mother and I are admittedly a bit worried about you dating a muggleborn with no previous magic experience until Hogwarts, Anakin Sarvo is a charming boy, and we're pretty sure he'll be courteous and a proper gentlemen.
As far as any threats, and keeping things hidden, your mother wishes to point out that you may be underestimating the Slytherin house, not in the sincerity of their benevolency, but in their perceptive ability to sort these things out on their own. Therefore we don't believe in any point in hiding matters, just be careful who you speak intimately toward. A sort of 'don't ask, don't tell' thing that your mother believes may simply lead the purebloods to mind their own business if you merely go about your own without leading them to believe that you want to gain their approval on any subject. Concerning any established threats, please watch your back. Anakin, I imagine, is quite safe as you suggested, but you, being in the Slytherin house, cannot trust the aid of the Gryffindors to stand resolute whenever you need it. Just keep yourself out of trouble. Merlin knows you've done this before.
And please, Adra, for the love of all that is good and pure, keep your Potions grades up!
Your father
