Drabble: "The Morning-After Condition" (PG-13)

A/N: I blame superlazygirl and hollywoodism for this.
"Suki? Suuuuuuki?"
The tarp of the tent opening shifted slightly, letting in a sliver of the breaking dawn right into her eyes. She groaned emphatically into her pillow.
She felt him shift beside her until his whispered breaths tickled her ear. "Suki, are you awake?"
"No," she replied, eyes still resolutely closed.
"Sukiiiii...," he pleaded, tapping her shoulder repeatedly.
"Go away," was her curt reply as she flipped around to face away from Sokka.
"Look, I'm really sorry about last night! I had it all planned out but then Zuko barged in--"
"--really, Sokka, I don't want to know right now," Suki sighed. "It's too early in the morning for your insanity."
He, however, was adamantly foolish enough to test her further by crossing over the other side, lying next to her and locking her body in his arms.
"Hey, if it makes you feel better, I think I choked on a rose last night."
There was no place to hide her smile. "I said I don't want to know...."
"Good. It was kind of embarrassing." He slid closer to her and kissed her softly.
"Ugh, it's too early," Suki muttered against his bottom lip.
Sokka shook his head. "No, I waited all night for this. I deserve something for having to put up with Aang's crazy airbending snoring for six hours straight."
"Sokka, my hair's a horrible mess and my breath probably smells weird."
"No.... it... doesn't," were his replies between consecutive kisses, the liar.
