Sad, because I think the social message of "District 9" will be lost on many. If the film came out 15-20 years ago more people would understand the weight it carries. But there's a whole generation out there that won't get the symbolical representation and exploration of apartheid. They will just think it's a cool Sci Fi Alien flick that deals with

I can't wait to see this one, did you like it? I mean I know that you took the time to write about it some on here so I'm assuming that you appreciated it on some level, but would you recommend it? :)

I would. I would also recommend Inglourious Basterds - however remember to look for Tarantino's real voice here and not the direction the masses take.
