Car stolen by "The Man" ... I feel oppressed

Now then, it was a great time at the Willy St. Fair the other day. I got to hang with Karen and Brooks, Lynn and Bridget, and the other lesser-known-to-me folks who were also there. I ran into Amy S. and damn did she look hot. And then she said some stuff, but I wasn't really listening to what it was

Madison's got nothing on milwaukee, Band van woes prior to me leaving the band:

Tow of vehicle with dead transmission=$125
Ticket for parking said vehicle too long=$50

Not technically part of charges but fees I paid:
Charge to tow Vehicle to my residence: $40
Charge for overdraft related to said nonsense: $40

told a buddy to park on the street, the left side of which is 2 hour parking, 8-6, the normal deal, all the way up and down, but the right side of which has a no parking 7-9 AM for about half the street. He parked on the right, and when we go out there 10 AM to get him on his way to California, the car ain't there.

Same deal, had to call the cops, figure out what had happened to the vehicle. Coulda been worse, if they towed it to a impound lot (does Madison even have those?), that probably costs more....

sucks, regardless, how random the signage is in this city, you can park here, but three feet away, we are gonna haul your car. Bastards.
