Completely unpremeditated impulse flight to Dallas for one day.

I woke up Monday morning on vacation. The weather sucked.

Unlike all other mornings, this time I did not stand for it. I was not going to accept bad weather on my vacation day, so I immediately got on the Shatner Web Site and booked a flight to Dallas, Texas, and one night in the four-star Hyatt Regency.

Dude that's awesome. Grats on a spur of the moment, I'm getting the hell out of Dodge even if it's just for a night attitude. Fat chance of ever doing that if you had a ball and chain, so do it while you can I say.

Btw, what's the camera and when did you get it? I assume it's digital. Next thing you know you'll have a cell phone.

Hey man, thanks for the words man ;). You have no idea how many people told me EXACTLY, VERBATIM, the exact same thing you said above. BTW, the camera was just some disposable ass-camera (i.e., fixed focus and ordinary film) that I got when I was there. Much Photoshop-lovin' was required to not have them look like total shit. I thought for a second about rolling through work to pick up my EOS, but it seemed like a really terrible idea to go to work while trying to get away from work. Also, I barely had time to shower and pack before getting on the plane!
