I'm dashing everywhere and as you know, in five minutes it's time for Ivory Tower and soup/sandwich, but I gotta give you a high five for going out there and writing all this crazily on target dialogue. It's so outside your comfort zone, and I am wickedly impressed, to say the least.

SAY IT! SAY IT! SAY IT!

eta: Wait, which didn't mean I'm saying nothing else about this. Because I AM. Just not right now. Word.

Beebs, you don't have to give a detailed review, goodness. You already read through it and found about 10 extra spaces for me, LIKE A BOSS.

SAY IT.

Thanks so much. Boy, I'm not sure about any of this, but I'm glad that you think the dialogue is on target. I have no idea! Also, I haven't watched this show in like a YEAR. #failbot.

ILU

Hope you're eatin' that yummy grilled cheese and homemade soup. (Homemade tonight?)

SHRIEK.

Um so a few friends and I we so excited when Aaron Sorkin came back to our TV-watching lives with Studio 60. We hosted watching parties in the hopes that it wouldn't get canceled.

To say I love the show is an understatement.

To say that I love what you've done here is also an understatement.

I can hear them, sweets. Oh me, oh my, and how.

Everything. All of it.

And especially THIS:

“Hey, how’s Rebecca?” Matt redirects.

“Beautiful,” he says, unable to help the way a smile washes over his face every time he thinks about it.

“Mischievous,” Jordan chimes in.

“Hi, Jordan,” Matt says, pausing. “What the hell, man? I didn’t know Jordan was in the room.”

“I told you I was putting you on speaker!”

HEARTS IN MY EYES.

(How do I not have a Studio 60 icon WHAT IS THIS MADNESS.)

You are too sweet for words. I can't believe anyone actually READ this let alone thought it was in character. I DON'T KNOW I HAVEN'T SEEN THIS SHOW IN SO LONG.

So, what I mean to say is, it's really great to have this feedback. You should see the grin on my face.

I'm sorry one of your fav shows got canceled. :( I think it was just too smart for the audience that was attracted to it. Like The West Wing, for example, attracted a really politically with it audience, and so it worked, but the only people who liked THIS show are the smart ones who caught on originally, before it was too late. IDK. This was a real gem. I didn't watch it while it was on the air, but I watched most of it two summers ago with S and her husband while drinking gin and tonics and it was a whole lot of fun.

Thanks again for reading, darlin'. xoxo

Ugh! I wanted to reserve my spot at the top...but, alas, this time zone doesn't cater to my needs like it should.

Thus, I reserve this spot to post when I land tmrw morning!!!

IT WAS SOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOO GOOD!

Oh, hon. Please don't feel obligated to comment extensively or something. I'm just glad if it can make you smile!

This prompt ended up being a lot of fun (though intimidating) to try!.

Of course I'm going to comment extensively and, perhaps even continuously and gratuitously. Yeah, the sand has made me not funny.

But this! I loved this!!

“I’m gonna get you to say it. By the end of the week I’m gonna have you walking around saying, ‘Harriet makes me soft.’”

“Better hope she doesn’t hear you. Or we won’t have our Dolphin Girl for the Seaport show.”

“Are you writing themed shows around her talents now?” There’s silence on the other end. “You are, aren’t you?”

“Hey, how’s Rebecca?” Matt redirects.

“Beautiful,” he says, unable to help the way a smile washes over his face every time he thinks about it.

“Mischievous,” Jordan chimes in.

I love this! Patent Matt and Danny banter and then Matt brings in the BIG guns with Rebecca and they both go all softy and mushy. *sigh*

This. It's awesomesauce. Thank you!

You are too too too kind. I'm so glad that it could make you smile and that you thought the banter was on target! Hee

Your comments mean a lot to me. Thanks so much for reading. This was a cool prompt to try, too. :)

I'm behind in life right now - including fanfic.

I miss Studio 60. I've also oddly discussed this show both yesterday and today with different people.

“Mistaken eggs. Picture this. We get Tom to play a drug-addicted Easter bunny who, with his compromised Easter magic, manages to confuse all the eggs. We’re talking...chaotic reaction shots. An eggshell that cracks out chocolate! Hens laying jelly-bean-filled plastic. A flash of microscopic sperm penetrating a milky Cadbury wall, squirming their way into a creamy, yellow dye #6 center.” Danny can picture the self-satisfied grin indicative in Matt’s tone. “The yolks make themselves!” Matt adds.
HAHA this is so Matt. I miss that cynical bastard.

“Did you just say ‘the yolks make themselves?’”

“Bad call. I regret it already.”
Hahahaha. Love it.

I love the banter between Matt and Danny. You really couldn't find two more awesome actors.

Huh, I might have to rewatch this over my break.

Loved this :)

hon, you don't need to read and reivew all this fanfic. Goodness. You didn't even request any!

That said, I really love your comment! It's so nice of you to take the time to read and say what you liked.

I'm definitely a fan of their bromance. I'm glad you liked the eggs part. It's seriously hard to come up with stuff for them, but I had a blast trying.

I'm high on DD coffee right now, which always makes me think of you. Wish I could ship you some.

xoxo

Oh please know that I never do it because I feel I have to. I wouldn't do that. I do it because I genuinely love your writing and want to read it.

DD! I miss their iced coffee greatly!
