Yuletide!
Dear Yuletide Author,
This is my first Yuletide and I'm crazy excited to be participating in this secret-santa-esque fic exchange.
I'm a born shipper, so I love any kind of relationship-centric fic that's well-characterized, as long as it's a relationship that appears as a plausibility on the show and isn't solely made up behind the scenes by the fans.
For my 24 request, that commitment to canon only extends to coupling, and not to anything of and/or relating to Renee's death. PLEASE, if you're choosing to write 24 for me, ignore that significant detail, be it by taking an AU perspective in which she survives, or by writing in a timeframe before the shooting transpired. That said, anything where Jack and Renee are an alive couple would delight me to no end.
For Thirtysomething, I'm not particularly picky, but my character preferences are Nancy and Elliot. I would love to see a fic in which the rekindling of their relationship is explored. One of the things I love about that show is how realistic the dialogue is, so if character dialogue is your forte, feel free to go crazy!
For Downton Abbey, just... anything goes! I love Anna and Bates, but I also enjoy the entire show as a whole. Anything you want to do would likely make me smile! Oh, and maybe it can be snowing, in the spirit of the season.
