I am not going to lie. I have so many things to say about this fic that I don't know where to start. I *am* going to start at some point though, I swear. It is going to happen. God, I never convey to you what I think you did here. Just scanning back through this part to refresh my memory about what happens in each chapter, I keep thinking about how entirely creeptastic you made CSM, among other things.

ALSO, YOUR ICON IS WIN.

Time to be supermom. But you rock.

Thanks hon! You don't need to get into specifics! You did that on beta already! Like...a lot! As if you don't have enough going on.

But seriously just. Thank you for being so supportive and helping me out and taking the time to say this. You rock.

“Their species is dying, Agent Skinner. They’re now in immediate danger of extinction as we further contaminate the atmosphere. They wished only to give us this technology for the purpose of the sustainability of their species and their home.”

Wow. What a fascinating twist. But of course we won't give up our oil and coal.

Amazing story. I am enjoying this even thought I must confess I don't recall the specific details of the XF episode on which it is based.

Ahahahaha. The aliens just want us to go green! So they can continue to thrive on their planet.

I'm really glad you picked out that part. I've never really written anything plotty before and the danger/Mulder captivity part seemed a lot easier than coming up with the reasoning behind it. I figured, why not address a global crisis while simultaneously telling a story about... aliens? It seemed to fit, so I'm glad you think so, too.

even thought I must confess I don't recall the specific details of the XF episode on which it is based.

hahaha! You don't really have to remember much about Requiem. The gist is that Mulder was abducted by aliens and I didn't like THAT version (because he was gone for so long!) so I wrote this version.

Thanks so much for reading! And commenting! It means a lot! Are you going to post soon about your trip??

Didn't that happen like five times to each of them? It's like the time Jack Bauer tortured a suspect...heehee

Love that icon.

Hahahaha. Touche. Though I think Scully, in canon, was taken by the government. Which we didn't know at the time and found out later when Mulder found her eggs. This show is so crazy. I love it so much, but since I don't pay a ton of attention to anything but the ship, I don't know the end game of the mytharc.

It's all so complicated. I mean... how many times did Mulder almost die? SO MANY. And Scully a couple of times, too.

Thanks on the icon! I don't remember who made it, but it's credited in my userpics.
