hahaha. I just remember Scully and Mulder with their giant cell phones and huge computers and her late 90s pantsuits.

To confess, I haven't been on a plane after 9/11 so I only know what they're like now through stories from friends.

Really? I was on a plane yesterday. Went through one of those freaky full-body x-ray scanner things. You do not fuck with the TSA.

As for the pantsuits, fashion hasn't changes THAT much in the past 20 years. It's weird.

I did have issues with Scully doing all her field work in high heels. But Gillian Anderson is quite short, so.

Hahahaha. I think it's just the shoulder pads that make me laugh. Thank god THAT has been buried in the past. And how unfitted the suits were; they always just hung saggily off Gillian Anderson's body until later in the series.

Full body X-ray scanners sound intense! I totally want to hear about your trip when you get a chance to post about it.
