Things I love a lot adore hugely:

Renee going to the party because Janis says she won't.
Jack loving the hell out of Renee's dress but being all squiggly about it because oh hai people. And she makes him dance anyway. Then they go home and fuck like minks drink hot chocolate.
Jack shaking his hips while cooking and listening to the Stones, OMG. Best.
(This is the dating dance they never did, that they’d skipped over because it was pointless from day one to hide or hold back.) And there you just summed up my entire Jack/Renee kink in a sentence, which clearly means you are a goddess of writing.
Everything about the thought of Jack as a Grandpa, Teri asking for him to put her to bed, Jack and Renee sucking ass at DDR, his mind a giant delayed reaction. Just. Yes!

Hee. I'm glad you like Jack kinda groovin' to the Stones. I just think that we don't get to see enough of him in that context. And I know I know I know. That's not the point of the show, but it makes it really hard to characterize him in non dire situations. But I can just see him doing something like that and I'm glad you don't find it OOC and stuff.

Old apartments ARE cold with clanky pipe heats and taking forever to warm up and stuff.

Awww, chosen by a child. I have such a soft part in my heart for the few scenes we got to see with Jack and his granddaughter.
