AN:This story was born out of a conversation late at night with JackFan2 and turned out to be, incidentally, my birthday gift to her, because she totally deserves it!

We see Aramis being taken prisoner the day before Constance is rescued and from there on, the only glimpses we have of him are a few times in his cell and at the trial. A journey to the border

Yay! I'm so glad that jackfan2 was willing to share her 'birthday gift' with everybody.....this was too good.

You portrayed Aramis's angst so well and gave us a peek into his anguish during those missing days -- darn those "professional" writers for leaving out half of the story!

Nice image of our darling, as well. Soooo pretty!
