A few months ago, I was sent to the supermarket for a sweet potato. When I returned, I was informed it was much too small and was sent back for a larger one.

Tesco (on Newmarket Road) only had the smallish sweet potatoes and large ones with "spudzilla" written on the side. Having previously been told off for buying too small a potato I found the largest one there: 2.1kg.

I suspect that was even larger than your potato. :-p

(It made a lot of good cookies, apparently.)

Well, obviouslt sweet potatoes have their own, separate league. They're a different species after all. Hardly a fair comparison.

I've seen Spudzillas too. They actually seem to approach the volume of pumpins. And without being mostly hollow either.
