It should come as no surprise that Amnesty International has published findings indicating that Israel deliberately destroyed civilian infrastructure in Lebanon, activity which included war crimes.

I think it was in the Kissinger doc I saw, but the dialog went something like this:

When Germany bombed London in WWII, the international community was APPALLED that a country would openly attack the civilians of another sovereign nation. War was meant to be conducted in the "military" sectors of society only.

By the end of the war, Dresden and Tokyo had been burned to the ground by extensive fire-bombing. Not to mention Hiroshima & Nagasaki. Or Viet Nam, or Cambodia. This shit wasn't Germany, it was US -- the Good Guys.

When world powers take military strategies from HITLER, you really have to wonder. Could governments, feigned democracies who supposedly are "of the people, by the people, and for the people," really show such callous disregard for human life?

Duh.
