didnt end up getting it, waaaay too small. do you know of any houses for rent in the area that youve seen? ive checked out greensheet, craigslist, the chronicle, google - i dont really go to that area at all eventhough thats where i would like to live - have you seen any places or would you ask area if you would? that would be a great help, looking for 1k a month or less, 800 would be ideal - atleast 2 bed
if i were you, i would come and just drive around the heights. a LOT of houses out here have a for rent sign in the yard, but they don't go through realtors. so you won't be able to find them if you go with a realtor or if you search on craigslist. there are people out here all the time. so i'd get up one morning that you have the day off, and just come look around. i found my apartment on craigslist. it's two bedroom, one and a half bath and a little over 1000 square feet. you've really got to be on top of it though because i replied the day the apartment was posted and was the first of three who looked at the apartment and wanted it. i got it because i got here first.
