I thought you had +400 damage already, or was that just my imagination?

According to the Character Sheet, I have 328. My pre-patch calculations should have brought me to over 400 but I figured the sheet was correct. Unless it doesn't add in my Mind Mastery talent. Now I'm kind of curious about it and I'll have to check it out. I'll manually add my gear together and figure it out. I thought that it would have added in my talent points but maybe not. I know it does for crit % (it jumps up to 42% if I'm Clearcasting), so I thought it would do the same for damage.

For some reason, on the character screen, it doesn't add in my talent for spell damage, but it does for crit %. I have to hover over my spell damage to see each element individually to see what it is after my talents, and for some reason it only adds my Mind Mastery effect to Arcane, Fire, and Frost. I'm at 431 if I have my intellect buff on.

The HWL Dagger and Book will bring me to roughly 470-480 spell damage (varying with the change in intellect I'll have, didn't do that part of the math exactly) after I get the damn enchant on it.

have a main thats a mage +470 damage makes me drool. I had crap for gear up till the patch where i grabbed the HWL shoulders and robes, and I been contemplating working for the dagger and tome of firey arcana. although i might just save my honor for level 70 pvp gear.
