So with absolutely no information released on the game, here's what it seems like from the trailer:
Wesker got the parasite and somehow combined it with the Progenator Virus, or the T or G Virus or something like that, and in some way, the new Parasite Virus turns infected people into creatures with Ganados intelligence, but at the same time, it seems as if they're Undead. Giving them the strength of both parts of the infection. Intelligence and an undead life, making them harder to kill. Just a guess.
